The news you’ve all been waiting for:
Tickets for the 2025 conference are now on sale!
Thursday April 17th to Saturday 19th 2025
At the University of Exeter
Three days of lectures, workshops, art, discussion panels, documentary films, and live performances. Come along and meet academics, scientists, clinicians, ceremonialists, writers, facilitators, independent researchers, musicians, therapists, medics, artists, and a host of enthusiasts, converging from around the globe. They have been carefully selected to bring a wealth and range of experience and perspectives to this event, where we can share our collective wisdom about the fabulously wide-ranging field that is psychedelic research.
Confirmed speakers include:

Our main website will be updated on a regular basis as more people are added, and the full programme released in March 2025.
Application forms to present talks, workshops, art, installations, and films, are now open
All application forms to participate in the conference are now live!
The deadline for submitting your form is 19th January 2025, so you have plenty of time. Applications will be reviewed after this date, and all applicants will be informed of their result by 28th February 2025. Take the time to make your content accurate, and follow the guidelines at the top of each form. Take particular care when creating your photograph, abstract, and bio, as these will be used in the programme! Make them clear and interesting. We want to hear from speakers, artists, workshop facilitators, stall holders, film makers, and people interested in volunteering. More detailed information can be found at the start of each application form.
Evenings on campus
This year we have a programme of evening entertainments; with the addition of our new eatery in the Terrace, we have an evening venue where you will find freshly cooked food, drinks from the bar, and a variety of acts on Thursday and Friday. Saturday night sees our regular Afterparty, with DJs playing top tunes until 2am.
Why come to Breaking Convention?
Breaking Convention has an atmosphere like no other conference. As an educational charity which is entirely self-funding, we exist as a community where the vast majority of those present volunteer their time and effort. The ethos of pro-active participation is vitally important to our success, the self-assembling chaos allows for creativity and conversations to emerge. Described as life-changing by many of our past delegates, this an experience you do not want to miss out on.
As always the talks will be filmed and added to our extensive YouTube channel for all to see, shortly after the conference.
How exciting, to meet together again!
